Orecchie d’Asino (b. 1995, Bari. She/her) was invited through an open call to spend a two-week research-based residecy in Gothenburg. She had access to the facilities at Göteborgs Bildverkstad, was given an apartment and the travels were covered.
During her stay, she researched new possibilities for further iterations of her project “Mi lecca come un gelato”, exploring the cyanotype technique. She ended up producing a first test on a bed sheet, 180 x 250 cm. In the images, you can see the final result and some in-progress moments when the objects were laying on the sheet.
