Katerina Tsakiri

(Athens, 1991) is a photographer and visual artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her works have recently been exhibited at Konstkollektivet (2025, Möldnal), Galleri Resistance (2025, Gothenburg), MOMus (2024, Thessaloniki), Four Corners Gallery (2024, London).

During the last four years, her practice has revolved around autobiographical narratives of her own body. Through staged photography, video performance, and sculpture, the artist investigates the relationship between female bodies and the concept of femininity. Her works pose the following questions: How does my body affect my perception of being a woman?

The images are from selected works belonging to the projects “I Climbed Across My Two Little Mountaintops” and “The Smiley Cut”.
